Younique Products: “Made in the USA”? (Well, Mostly) part 1
Are you wondering: “Where is Younique makeup manufactured?” The answer is, “pretty much all over”. Many of the Younique products are “Made in the USA” – but some of our biggest sellers are not.
Read on – as I take you on a Younique trip around the world to see where six of our most popular products are from! (NOTE: Will do a follow up as soon as I can for more Younique products)…
3D Fiber Lash Mascara
I’ve seen other Younique presenters stating that Younique makeup is “Made in USA” – but the truth is our biggest seller is (was*) not. The 3D Fiber Lashes are actually made in China. I know that will disappoint some of you out there, more than others…
PLEASE NOTE*: Good news the new 3D Fiber Lashes+ are now made in the USA. Only the original formula was were made in China.
While on the subject of the 3D mascara, please only buy your fiber mascaras from a REAL, active Younique presenter (direct through them – or their website). If not mine, than someone else’s. Far too many bargain-hunters are caught out buying Fake 3D Mascaras from Ebay and Amazon – it’s worth paying the full price on something that goes near your eyes, ok? Shop for REAL 3D Fiber Lash mascara on my Younique site – or UK people may want to save themselves a little money by ordering directly through me. You’ll receive them for a little cheaper and a lot faster if you do! (Ring 0141 416 1492 – always in stock)

UPDATE: The Mineral Pigments are now different and called Moodstruck Pressed Shadows. There are 32 different pigment colours to choose from. Interested? Buy your Moodstruck Mineral Pigments now! PS: They’re not just for the eyes, look at all the things you can do with them! So lovely, so versatile!
Splurge Cream Eye Shadow
As followers of my blog probably know, the Splurge Cream Eye Shadow is my fave product, I think…I was surprised to learn that these gorgeous silky shadows are made in Italy! I like them all but Elegant is probably the best.

Divine Daily Moisturizer
I sure do love this Divine Daily Moisturizer and I really do wear it every day. This is another of the Younique Products that is “Made in the USA”.
From the Younique Website:
“Divine Moisturizer (https://www.youniqueproducts.com/Thea/newproducts/divine) “Divine is an all new, superior, daily moisturizer featuring honeysuckle, beta fructan, and highly refined triglyceride oil. Honeysuckle has long been sought after for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties…Made in the USA, and manufactured using a “clean formulation” process.”
Refreshed Rose Water
Refreshed Rose Water was initially one of the products I was, I’ll admit to you, a little ambivalent about. Over time though, I gradually started to see how versatile it…Cooling you down on a hot summer’s day. Mixer for my pigments to apply them as eye liners or into my hair. It also can clean makeup brushes. That’s just a few ways the Refreshed Rose water can be used. It is another of Younique’s “Made in the USA” products!
There is a ridiculous amount of ingredients in the Rose Water – too many to list here – but if you want to see the full list then visit the Refreshed Rose Water page on my Younique site and click on “ingredients” below the “Add to Cart” button.
Summary
No matter where it comes from, Younique’s makeup is always naturally-based*, not tested on animals, and are generally free from parabens, and other nasty chemicals that will harm your body or you skin.
*Some products do have talc for example, the beachfront bronzer.

You mention that the products are talc free, but I see that there is talc in the beachfront bronzer?
That’s a very good point Wendy. I’ve tweaked the copy now. Thank you for having pointed that out to me!
And in the Translucent setting powder!
That’s a really old post now – not sure what your comment means hon? What’s in it or where it’s made? Not sure.
Not focused on Younique anymore really. Just remaining a presenter for the one or two products I am buying…
Where is the detoxifying mask manufactured?
Good question. I checked my mask tub and the fact sheet and didn’t say. I’ve put in a request to support and I will respond back when I have a definitive answer. That post is very out dated now. I suspect USA but if it’s not I will certainly let you know Mary Lou. OK? Thanks for the comment.
Younique products are not cruelty free. They are not certified & Younique themselces have stated that they can not be sure if their sourced ingredients were not tested on animals. Just because a company doesnt test on animals themselves, doesnt make them cruelty free.
Thanks Brooke. You’re totally right. This was a super old post (more than 2 years old) and I didn’t have the “facts” as such about certification and what we can and can’t say.
I have now removed that Younique is “cruelty free” line, and changed it to saying Younique itself doesn’t test on animals.
Thanks for keeping me right. Feel free to find any other inaccuracies around Glatitude! The site’s been sorta “offline” this year, and it’s not being refreshed, changed, and checked (broken links, updates in products etc). All the best.
Are you planing to open marked to China?
You’d have to ask Younique that. Not sure the next countries launching…Probably not for a while…But I don’t have insider info!
Younique is already in Hong Kong. Doubt they will go to mainland China seeing they test all imported cosmetics on animals
Yeah the post is really OLD now…and honestly I won’t even bother updating as I am about to wipe this site and start over anyway!
Do you know where the Younique eyeliner pencils are made? Most eye pencils are made in Germany or Italy.
Sorry not really no. I can try to see if I can read it on the box!
I just checked my dip & draw and it’s Germany
