Well I am literally two minutes off the Younique Mexico webinar about the upcoming, full launch there. Mexico is a great market for us, for a variety of reasons…
Mexico is the 6th largest direct sales market in the world 41 percent of Mexico direct sales are in the beauty category. Direct selling accounts for half of the Mexico beauty industry with eye products such as mascara and eye shadow accounting for 33 percent of all sales in the direct selling of makeup. That means hundreds of thousands of women could be waiting to try our most popular product—our 3D Fiber Lashes
….So that’s pretty exciting.
Going Mobile in Mexico!
In Mexico, the population is very “mobile”. In fact, 87% are accessing the Internet on their smart phones. Perhaps more interestingly, to me anyway, is that such a short per cent are using iPhones.
For some reason this surprised me…

The Younique 999 Club
Like in the other markets, Younique has a sort of competition for the first 999 signups in a new market. When the UK launch happened in October 2014 – those 999 filled up in just twenty-six minutes!
I, sadly, wasn’t one of them – as I signed up a few weeks later (more like 12,000 as I recall, for the UK).
But we will have this opportunity for people joining in Germany and Mexico.
FYI: The German launch is now August 1st, and not July 1st, which is rather disappointing…but oh well.
Anyway the Younique Mexico launch will be slightly different than our usual “Recruit, Sell, Build” model – because we already launched product sales there.
