My Week in Younique – May Days

Thea Newcomb | Yellow Younique Presenter in the 1st month.Well another week or so has passed, it’s been decidedly mixed. Was fairly quiet for the whole first week then BAM! A rush – like buses – all coming at once.

Well Done Kel!

Great news, Kelly, one of my newest rock star recruits in England, has gone Yellow. She’s only the second person in my team who has managed to do so! I am sooo very proud of her! Onwards she goes!

She seems to want to “work it” more than anyone else presently on my entire team. On maternity leave, she really aims to build a business which will allow her to spend more time at home raising the children. Like me, though, she’s aiming for the top with Younique.

Also last week, as I mentioned in the last My Week in Younique (6 mos update), I attended a Younique event in Glasgow with nearly 150 of my fellow y-sisters. Because I have an American accent, I occasionally got mistaken for being one of the Black Younique presenters, which of course I’m not (yet). Perhaps one day…

If I am being honest, it was disappointing to me that I had no team mates there. I was surrounded by other people who had their teamies around ’em, but a lot was said about teams in general that did make me feel a bit better.

I have often felt that with my Younique business that you can lead the team to the watering hole, but you can’t make them drink anything. By that, I mean I can’t force, prod or push people to promote their business or to want to learn as much as they can. That’s gotta be down to them.

I was glad I went to the event. It was infectious being in the room with people at all Younique levels – from the newbies to the top dogs – as it were…It was an impressive amount of talent and inspirational stories bouncing around the room. It made me want to work harder to go higher and farther than I have.

Younique Glasgow Collage - #youbythea
It was encouraging to hear the challenges that these Black Level ladies had with their businesses and teams. Stories of working 40,50.60 hours and then brining in something like $84. I have been there. Many people have, I suspect, and just gave up thinking “there’s no money in this” or “this is too hard” or some other excuse. But it’s a slow build in my opinion. Sure there are Younique exceptions. I heard some in that room last week, of people going far super fast, but it’s not my reality. Slow and steady wins the race for me. I am the tortoise not the hare.

A few really helpful conversations were had between myself and Shawna Flinkert (left selfie) Michelle Bell (right selfie). They, in many ways, were the highlight of the night for me.Shawna gave me a good tip. She said it something she heard from one of her team mates, I believe…”3,4,5″ – since people are so “busy” these days – ask them for a wee coffee and ask them to bring three friends. Show four products in five minutes. “Everyone has time for coffee” she says. What a great idea. I plan to try it.

Gotta get my 5 minute pitch down pat first though? Ha ha.

Michelle talked about the rule of thirds (or something like that). With MLMs, you need to build big teams and for every ten, only three will really work it.Of the three, probably just one will be a “rock star” (as I call them). I look at my team and I could see how this reflects the average in direct sales. It really does! The money really comes in with a team, continually recruiting, and training them to recruit too. I’m still learning and loving it.

Welcome Rebecca

Welcome Rebecca - so glad you have decided to #jointheAteamWelcome to my latest team member Rebecca. Another English woman who has small children (or rather one) who she wants to have more time at home with. At the event, much time was spent talking about our “Why” – why we do the business we do.

For Rebecca it’s to be able to take her son to school and pick him up. She’s already done other Direct Sales businesses and she already knows the business model and that it takes a lot of work. I hope she’s as fantastic as I’d predict she is. She’s already a master-networker and is talking creatively about how she hopes to promote her own business locally in her area of Glasgow’s southside.

Before yesterday we had only known each other “online” through a mutual friend so it was fun to meet up in person and talk at length about Younique products, our goals within the company and our “Whys”. Though I don’t have any kids I do have a father I’d like to be supporting – so my “why” centers more around him!

3D Fiber Lashes

Thea's Fave Products, 3D Fiber Lash Mascaras from YouniqueSo I’ve just sold my last set of 3D Fiber Lashes and need to bulk order more. A few enquiries came in last night via this blog, also my Younique page, and some the night before via Facebook too.

For UK people who need a set of the fiber lashes, ordering direct through me can save them nearly four pounds. I order them in and will send out in the UK, so for people who want to save a bit of money and who aren’t in a hurry it’s worth reaching out to me here. I take payments usually through PayPal.

Most of my Younique mascara sales are to women in England. Thanks ladies!! So if you’re anywhere in the UK – order direct with me and save some money! Ring me on the number here on the website if you like. Preferably no later than 9pm.

Did You Buy a Fake Fiber Lash Mascara?

Did You Buy a Fake Fiber Lash Mascara?Did You Buy a Fake Fiber Lash Mascara?

Have you just bought some cheap, 3D Fiber Lashes of eBay or Amazon assuming they were real Younique mascaras? Well bad news, they are almost definitely fakes no matter how real they seem.

Several months back, I blogged about the difference between Real vs Fake Younique 3D Fiber Lashes. If you’re unsure whether yours is a fake, then read that article.

The post regularly has comments from bargain hunters looking to score a cheap deal on these popular 3D fiber mascaras…only to find out they ended up buying 3D lash knock-offs.

Has that happened to you? I really want to hear from those of you who got caught out by these impostors. Maybe we can do our bit to clamp down on the fraudsters.

If it happened to you, please know that you’re not the other only one. Every day, just about, I am hearing from pissed-off-purchases of these counterfeit mascaras from all over the world.

Name & Shame the Counterfeit Makeup Sellers

Counterfeit makeup is big business around the world. But what you get for cheap may cost you in the long run – given that in some instances 200 times the safe limit of chemicals can be found in them!

What’s really scary, is how many people are buying these Younique fakes – because they don’t know any better. Then they receive them and they look so “real” that it can be hard to spot the difference!

Real and Fake 3D Fiber Lash Mascara - Beware Cheap skates!

Please Note

  • Some fakes have bar codes and some do not. (So that’s NOT necessarily the way to tell if they are fake)
  • The boxes and logo/branding are slightly different.
  • The address details are different on the real vs fake (LLC vs Products).
  • The transplanting gel stinks on the fakes. If yours has any sort of stench, it is definitely fake!

The one on the left is my picture of a set of 3D Fiber Lash mascaras that I bought via my own Younique by Thea website…(Sadly, I cut off the 4-digit number below the barcode. I’ll have to take another when my next bulk order comes in).

The one on the right was sent by a lovely visitor called “Bel” just yesterday. She sent that and some other images of her bulk purchase from a seller on eBay in Australia.

New Formula 3D Fiber Lashes+
Click to Buy new 3D Fiber Lashes Plus

The seller claims to have gotten them from a “YouNique distributor based in Singapore” – which, of course, there is no such thing!!

Once again – you will not find REAL Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara anywhere on eBay, Amazon, Craiglist or Gumtree or anything of that sort. Our genuine, best-selling, Younique product, sold by actual Younique presenters, can only be sold on our own, individual Younique websites. We are prohibited from using any of those sites our terms and conditions.

The only way I could see any real ones on there is if a person sold theirs as an “unwanted gift” but really how could tell you until you bought it. Please don’t take that risk.

Wherever you are in the world though, you can buy 3D Fiber Lashes here.

Fake 3D Fiber Lashes

I’d like to hear from you in the comments below. Have you purchased some 3D mascara that you thought was from Younique only to find it’s not the real mccoy? Where did you buy them and who from? Did you try to get your money back? Did you succeed? Do you have any pictures you can send of the fakes?

What would you like to do now?

Allergic Reaction to 3D Fiber Lashes

Have you had an allergic reaction to Younique’s 3D Fiber Lashes mascara?

So last night, my latest recruit, Sammie, brought to my attention, a post that is doing the rounds on Facebook. You may have seen it yourself. Apparently, this post was shared in a group that she’s in, (and I see it has been shared far too many times). But I guess that’s the nature of the beast that is Social Media, and particularly Facebook…

While it can be easy to get swept up in the negativity and scare-mongering, I personally tend to subscribe to things being best to see for myself. I take things on board, but think for myself.

All of those people that shared the story, don’t really know the FULL story.

As they say, “there are two sides to every story, and the truth lies somewhere in between”. I don’t even know the full story, so I can’t comment too much further. But what I will share with you, are a few points of reassurance – if you’re worried about the safety of Younique’s 3D lashes…

1) The real fiber lashes Younique sells are “100% Natural Fibers taken from Green Tea”. If they fall into your eyes it may irritate them, at best, not cause the damage she is proposing. (FYI: I have actually heard that the person in question admitted to Younique support that she actually poked her eye with the wand! If that’s the case then that would have the same effect with whatever mascara she was using! But again I don’t know the full story and neither do you…)

UPDATE 2016: The new formula of 3D Fiber Lashes+ has rayon fibers.

2) Just FYI Younique Support responds to all customer tickets, complaints, etc. Any time I’ve contacted support, they’ve almost always gotten immediately back to me (and my team mates and customers have said the same too), and resolved it in a satisfactorily fashion.

Admittedly sometimes it’s taken a few emails to resolve, but it’s always gotten resolved! In fact, they do tend to go above and beyond with their support, so rest assured, if you have a legit issue or problem, it will be sorted. It will not be ignored!

You may want to speak to the presenter you purchased from first before support but that’s your call.

Allergic Reactions to 3D Lashes

Real 3D Fiber Lash Mascara - Younique by Thea
Original 3D Fiber Lashes

Some people do have very sensitive eyes, of course. So far though, only one person in all the dozens of 3D mascara sets that I’ve sold has said they caused her eyes to be “red and puffy”. She herself had admitted she has “very sensitive eyes”. It’s unfortunate, but allergic reactions can happen. I dealt with it for her, myself. She realised after a few tries that they simply weren’t for her. Not every product, makeup or otherwise, is suited to every person.

In fact, there is not one product in the world that’s without its nae-sayers, critics or people who’ve had bad experience. Not one brand either. That goes for MAC, Benefit, Channel, Clinique or Revlon or whoever…

And you know what? People tend to be much more vocal about their negative opinions, and bad experiences, than they do about their positive ones.

We sell 15-20,000 of these lashes a day. If one does have an allergic reaction to the REAL 3D Fiber Lashes it tends to be the exception to the norm.

I also suspect that some people with issues would be ones using dodgy counterfeit 3D lashes from Amazon or eBay and the like.

Or as I mentioned they POKE their eye with the Younique wand (haven’t we all done that before?)Younique's Love our 3D Fiber Lashes - and all our products - or your money back

So please don’t let the critics (or even trolls) dissuade you from trying Younique’s 3D Lashes. Try them and if you don’t love them you’ll get your money back in the Love it Guarantee. OK?

FYI: Younique’s original formula 3D Fiber Lash Mascara is hypoallergenic, paraben free, gluten free, and vegan. Find the full list of 3D mascara’s ingredients from the Younique site below:

Transplanting Gel Ingredients: Water, Beeswax (Natural Propolis), Carnauba (Brazilian palm glue), Iron Oxide Cl 77499 (Black), Collagen, Acrylates Copolymer, Nylon, Stearic Acid, Propylene Glycol. .23 FL OZ / 7 ml

Natural Fibers Ingredients: 100% Natural Fibers taken from Green Tea. Net WT .02 OZ/ .5g.

Collagen is a type of protein that works with elastin to give skin its texture, structure, and appearance. It contains antioxidants, and may help add volume and shine to the appearance of eyelashes.

Water (Aqua) is the liquid of life! Hydrates and cleanses the skin, and works as a natural spreading component, helping to distribute other ingredients evenly over the skin.

Beeswax (Natural Propolis) is a brownish, resinous material collected by bees and believed to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Carnauba (Brazilian Palm Glue) is extracted and refined through a pressing and crushing process that turns the palm glue into an oil, creating the sticky nature of the transplanting gel. It is also believed to act as a natural preservative.

Iron Oxide Cl 77499 (Black) is a technical name for Black Iron Oxide. This naturally-occurring mineral acts a colorant, giving the gel its striking black color.

Acrylates Copolymer is an adhesive and binder, as well as a suspending agent.

Nylon is a powder substance that is used as an absorbent and thickening agent.

Stearic Acid (also known as Palmitic Acid) is an organic nutrient derived from palm trees that is often used to soothe and soften the skin.

Propylene Glycol is a humidifying and delivery ingredient.

These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is an unregulated cosmetic and is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any disease.

My Week in Younique – Times Two (…again)

Due to a busy few weeks, I’m a week behind in my updates for My Week in Younique! So now I’ve got to remember all the fabulous and exciting things that have been happening. It’s been quite a time!

New Youique Products & Bundles

BUNDLE: Kid in a Candy Store - Younique by TheaI am soooo excited to see the new Younique products that are coming out in just over a week’s time!

I’ve seen the pictures (screenshots from a top presenter) but can’t wait to order them myself so I can see them up close!

Plus there are a bunch of new bundles that look utterly awesome! Check out the new names: Kid in a Candy Store, Pucker Up, About Face, Show Stopper, All Eyes on You and Radiant Beauty! They all look great, but I’m probably going to grab the Kid in a Candy Store for the new products, and because I lost my gorgeous lip stain (it may have been left in California last month, oops). Still doesn’t it look great! The new bags look darling!

New Pigments Price

Shop for Moodstruck Mineral Pigment Eye ShadowsThe other day the new weekly email arrived with news of the Moodstruck Mineral Powders Set price change:

Last October we printed an incorrect price in the catalog for the Moodstruck Minerals Pigment Powders Set of 4. Since it was our mistake, we chose to honor that lower price until the March catalog was printed with the corrected price ($45 USD, $54 CAD, $58 AUD, £35 GBP, $62 NZD). We want to remind you that there is about one week remaining for this lower price, as the correct price will go into effect March 1, 2015.

Definitely picking up a set of these this week before the price goes up! I am having trouble deciding though as per my post on Google+. There are 32 eye shadows and I only have five so I really need to work out what I should get next. Open to suggestions if you have any! Post there or here in the comments!

New Enquiries Via My Site

Help Wanted: Makeup lovers to join #theAteamI’ve had some enquiries through the blog to join #theateam – which makes me beyond-pleased! Good to know someone is reading these words and has reached out as a result!

One however reached out, stated she was signing up with someone else and asked loads of questions to me (which I answered). So basically I did all the recruitment for someone else’s benefit! Oh well…I’ve written a blog to answer some 5 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS of Younique) Part one – as a response to that. More FAQs will follow.

So what am I looking for? Well it’s my intention to find some fabulous, makeup-loving, ambitious sellers who want to run their own business, play with makeup, and have a second pay check each month. Heck, better still if they want to make a career out of it (like me)! 🙂

Looking for people in North America, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. So please pass it on!

Another enquiry last week came from someone already selling the Fake 3D Fiber Lashes though. I cringed as so many un-suspecting women were registering their interest to snap them up – knowing full well they’re likely to be dodgy.

Really this just break my heart – people flogging counterfeit products, especially when those of us are trying to make a living out of selling the real deal.

Ladies, it may look the same, come in the same style case, even contain the same branding and bar code, but it’s not Real 3D Fiber Lash mascara unless you get it directly from Younique, OK? (Here’s a recent post about smelly transplanting gel – PS: if yours smells, it’s fake!)

Buy REAL Younique 3D Fiber Lashes now!

If you’re after some cheap 3D lashes, please just beware of who you buy from, you don’t know what you’re putting on/near your eyes, OK? I tend to have some on hand and can send in the UK for reduced shipping. I’d rather you bought the real thing from me (or anyone at Younique) than be duped by a low cost knock off!

So please reach out. Plus, not only that, you’ll only be entitled to a money-back guarantee if you buy from source!

Team Update

My newest recruit Sammie, based in Lanarkshire in Scotland, has already qualified as White and is earning the most on my team this month, second only to me! She’s fired up and running a few businesses simultaneously. This girl’s going places! She’s a rock star. I am delighted to have her aboard! The next teamie – also in Lanarkshire to be rocking it is Karen. Karen’s like my very own 3D Whisperer! She’s so good she doesn’t even know it! That’s how we often are I guess…never knowing our true worth. I will just have to keep reminding her.

Time to Shop Younique!

As for me, I need to go and do some shopping for myself! That’s in a way the downside of running your own Younique business, you end up being your best customer if you’re not careful. I genuinely want all the products but for now I’ll start with the above mentioned Moodstruck Pigments set and also I’m gonna have to break down and buy the Love it Bundle all for that cute Pink Glam Bag!

Does Your 3D Fiber Lashes’ Gel Smell?

Does Your 3D Fiber Lashes’ Gel Smell?

Does your 3D Fiber Lashes’ Gel Smell?

A few people have contacted me on the blog, in the last week or so, to report that their fiber lash mascara’s gel has a terrible stench to it!

To my knowledge, these people have not bought direct from official Younique presenters but rather someone advertising cheap 3D lashes on Facebook, Amazon. Ebay etc..

The real trouble with these fiber lash mascaras is that they look like real 3D fiber lashes, are even said to have the bar code on the back, and yet they stink??

Let me just reiterate Younique’s 3D fiber lash mascara gel has no smell whatsoever!! If yours stinks, then I suspect you have bought one from a counterfeit batch and not from an authorised presenter.

I am currently trying to ascertain where exactly these women have bought their lashes from (probably Ebay or Amazon!!) and particularly if it’s the same seller.

Once I do find out, I’ll make sure I report them to Younique, officially so that the compliance team can take action.

Regardless, they will not be sanctioned mascara on sites like Amazon or Ebay. We are not allowed to sell them there or other sites like that (Craigslist, Gumtree etc)!

Be Safe with Your Eyes

Younique's Love our 3D Fiber Lashes - and all our products - or your money backSure you may save yourself a bit of money picking up a cheap set of lashes to try them out, but at what cost in the long run?

You don’t have the same guarantee that 1) they are legit (e.g. naturally-based), and also 2) you don’t have the 100% certainty of your money back in our “love it guarantee” if you’re not 100% happy with the product. So why risk it?

Please buy your 3D Fiber Lashes direct from Younique itself (if not me on my site, then another authorised presenter local to you!) NOTE: As long as you are in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada you can buy from me. If there is any trouble I will guide you, and ensure you’re satisfied with the products!

Fake 3D Fiber Lash Buyers!

Beware of Fake Younique Mascara - this is what the real 3D Fiber Lashes look like!

Buyers beware! If you have bought some “smelly”, or False 3D Fiber Lashes, could you be so kind to share the link to who you bought from below? Or even take a picture or the packaging (if you have it still!) That would be so helpful so that people don’t make the same mistake…

Share this blog with anyone who’s been looking for some cheap 3D lashes online! Make sure they buy the real deal from Younique Products! OK?

New Younique Markets for 2015

Good news for people in Mexico and Germany – we’ll be selling our fabulous mascara and everything else in those markets later on in 2015. You can read more about that on this younique 2015 announcement blog! Exciting times!

Ok that’s it for today! 2 new new blogs are on the way – 1) about some of the FAQs for joining Younique and also 2) getting the most out of your 3D lashes! So please check back!

PS: Do you love your 3D fiber lashes? Want to earn some free ones? Ask me how!

My Week in Younique – # 3 Almost Pink

My Week in Younique – # 3 Almost Pink

My Week in Younique - Post # 1

Well so here we are, following on from last week’s My Week In Younique-Fast Start blog…another week has come and gone. It’s not been hugely eventual so this will be a fairly brief blog update.

Fake Younique Mascara UK

Beware of Fake Younique Mascara - this is what the real 3D Fiber Lashes look like!

There have been quite a few visits here to my blog about real vs fake Fiber Lash Mascaras. Quite a few comments and questions on said blog, too.

Though the 3D Fiber Lashes have been around for a few years in the States, Younique in the UK has only been available for six weeks now.

People on Facebook have had their streams cluttered with selfies donning the 3D Mascara (sometimes showing one eye with and one eye without) – which is a bit of a mixed blessing for Presenters like me who are trying to sell it. Knowledge is a good thing – over saturation not so much. So it’s getting hard to be unique selling Younique as it were!

Once again if you’re going to buy Younique’s Moodstruck 3D Fiberlash Mascara – please be sure to get the real day from an actual Presenter – if not from me, then buy one of my Y-sisters!

As always you’ll get peace of mind if you do – with our Love It Guarantee! I like a bargain just as much as everyone but don’t chances on buying outside of Younique Products because you won’t be guaranteed to get the real ones if you do! Please note that it’s against our policy to sell on any other sites like that – so get the real 3D Fiber Lash mascara with the barcode – as pictured from Younique direct. OK?

Presenter Kits Arrived in the UK!

By now, I think my entire team has now received their Presenter’s Kits – so they can  now be showing it to family, friends and potential customers too. Some of the gals have sold a staggering about of the 3D Lashes. Karen in particular has sold about 22 to date and she’s the newest recruit to #theAteam! That’s pretty inspiring. I’m a little jealous but very proud just the same!

The kits took a long time to arrive – due to courier issues – which I am hoping are a thing of the past.

Due to a few sales in the week, I’m now just a few hundred from hitting “Pink” – which as you may know is my goal before Christmas.Made it to Fast Start! What did you do while you slept?

Having achieved Fast Start, I am now sitting with that $250 bonus sitting in my back office…I’ve been looking at the various products to decide what to spend it on. So many fab products to choose from.

Not only do I have over $250 there to spend, I have earned four 1/2-priced items via my online parties too! So once I hit Pink it’s going to be a shopping spree for Miss T.

Black Friday Special

My Tracking info for my Black Friday Special - 3D mascaras and eye liners and more from Younique

Still waiting on my Younique “Black Friday Special” which was ordered 1 December (today is now the 15th!). Quite excited for it to arrive (with its 3D Fiber Lashes, Eye Shadows and pencils!) – but again, we seem to be being let down by the courier…or maybe it’s customs? I am not entirely sure? All I know is that it’s been sitting down in England for several days with no update to the tracking details. Most frustrating.

As I’ve said in my previous update – I hope these initial teething problems will soon be resolved. Indications are that they will be. Head office seems to be listening, and setting plans in motion – and I hope that’s the case!

It’s awfully challenging to run a business and say to clients “shipments will be in within 10-14 days” and then it’s not.  Especially when some of these orders may be Christmas gifts! Still I will hope for a Christmas miracle and that all my teams orders will be to their customers before Santa arrives!

Do You Fancy Something New?

If you’re sick of your job, or just fancy a wee change, and like playing with makeup and social media, then go here to learn more about the Younique opportunity!

So far, I’m loving it over all…in spite of the courier issues 😉

Thea’s 12 Days of Younique

So I’ve started to do the 12 Days of Christmas.  So far I’ve done Day 1 and Day 2 already and 3 will be this evening.

My latest party is here: Thea’s 12 Days of Christmas (See #Theas12 on Social)

My Week in Younique – Update #1

Good morning and so a new month begins! Have just finished month one, and am here to report the journey, so far, as honest as possible (while not breaching any terms of my contract!) 🙂

Younique Yellow Status

Thea Newcomb | Yellow Younique Presenter in the 1st month. The first milestone was achieving White level status. It’s pretty easy to do as it’s only selling about five of the 3D Fiber Lash Mascaras in a month. “Check!”

Towards the end of the month, I reached Yellow Level Status which, in order to do so, is a solo effort of selling 2000 points (which is effectively 2000 dollars).

I nearly hit the third level Pink – which is a team effort – but fell short a few hundred.

I will admit that it was tempting to whip out the credit card and do a round of Christmas shopping in one-fell-swoop just to reach Pink – but in the end, I resisted. 😉

It sort of defeats the purpose of running your own business when you’re the top customer – don’tchathink?

Younique December Goals

Well, I am happy I hit Yellow, but disappointed to have missed Pink, so I am evaluating the goals for the coming month. That’s gotta be Pink, maybe even Blue and to achieve “Fast Start” ASAP. I think I can do that last one in a week or so!

Incidentally ‘Fast Start’ qualifications are based off of the following two requirements that you need to meet within 90 days after signing up:

1. $2000 in Personal Retail Sales — nearly there!!
2. Sponsor at least 3 new Presenters — done!

Once this is achieved, I will receive a “Fast Start” charm to go with my White and Yellow charms, and I’ll get some free makeup too! “Merry Christmas” to me! So those are my December Goals.

#theAteam Expands

Welcome to theAteam - so far!#TheAteam (aka Team Thea!) has grown beyond just me. It took 18 days to get my first team mate (was a lonely three weeks there), but now I am pleased to report that there are now six in my team.

Five women one, straight man. Said man has recruited someone already as well – so that’s 8 people in my wee company in one month!

We’re all just learning and trying different things to see what works. What works for me may not work for each of my team.

The beauty of Younique is that it’s flexible for people to do as little or as much as they want. In addition to the above goals, my aim this month will be to recruit and develop my lovely team so they can make the most of their Younique opportunity!

So far my team is consisted of people I know (some really well) – which is awesome. Eventually though it will be filled with people who don’t know me yet…

Let’s Talk Younique Money

Ok so you may be curious about the money. How have I done? I don’t believe I am allowed to give actual figures (will need to check with compliance) – but let’s just say I’ve doubled my initial investment. Not quite enough to pay my mortgage – I don’t think – but it’s close!

Plus, again, that was without a team for 18 days. Just little ole me. So yes, lovely people, you can make money at this if you really want to. I am committed to doing so.

Get paid quicker with Younique mastercardI have had some challenges getting paid via PayQuicker, but this was more to my being an American in Britain – and not having the right “Government Issued” IDs to hand…

DVLA is sending my updated licence – so that, along with my National Insurance card, should have me sorted this week. Yippee!

Then the money will get either transferred to my bank account or it will just go onto my Younique debit card, and I’ll start spending that way. That’s going to be a fun day! Just in time for Christmas 🙂

Real Vs Fake 3D Mascara Saga Continues

So I just had a call from some woman – didn’t quite catch her name as it came through on my iPad and was muffled. Plus I was half asleep after working until 1am!

Anyway I believe she said she was from some company that was Digi Sell or DigiSale (I am not quite sure) who is trying to source the Real Vs Fake 3D Mascara claims from my last post.

Listen lovely people, I am not the one who has asserted the claims, only relaying what the Younique community has been reporting in various places on the Tinterweb.

Basically buyer beware…I have not personally seen these possible fake 3D Fiber Lash Mascaras – merely the real ones.

Unless I misunderstood, her due to the faulty connection and half-asleepedness, she points to a certain “hysteria” that has been caused to me – from my last blog. Well this so-called frenzy was going on for weeks before I decided to blog about it, Shop Younique by Theaand simply warn that there may be fakes. Scratch that, there ARE fakes all over the web – which is why I say always buy direct from a Younique presenter. If not me, then one of my “Y-sisters”

Maybe the woman in question is selling them? I am not sure. In any event, no hysteria’s been caused by me, as judging from my analytics, only about 20 people read the actual blog post in question. Hardly hysteria-inducing…

In any event, I am not saying that ALL mascaras on Ebay and Amazon are fakes – or fringing trademark or copyright – I am only saying that if they are for sale outside of – they won’t be officially sanctioned from Younique – or sold by a legitimate presenter – as it breaks our Terms and Conditions to sell anywhere like that!!

We have a busy compliance division who are addressing such claims – so please lady, whoever you are, if you’re reading this – ASK THEM not me.

Try emailing Younique Compliance them here! And, as for the details you couldn’t seem to find for Younique, here they are right from the main website:
