My Week in Younique – Back on Track

Well I am back with another update. I’d let the weekly updates lapse a little but striving to get them back onto a more regular basis. Last time was a month update (oops).

In my last blog post I talked a little about our expansion into Mexico – following a webinar that I was on the line for this week.

Younique Has “Epic” News

So it appears we have some majorly big news coming this week – July 1st. I have no idea what it is. I can’t even come up any with any possible theories of what it might be. I’m completely stumped…

Epic Younique News: "Game-changing. Revolutionary. Ground-breaking"

What could be “Game-changing. Revolutionary. Ground-breaking”? I do love how good Younique is when teasing their news. They always seem to be hatching some interesting plans.

I hope it lives up to the hype! The email says we’ll not be disappointed and that Younique co-founder Melanie Huscroft will spare no details on the webinar in four days. Can’t wait to see what she’s got to reveal! I will let you know after the webinar.

Younique Mexico

Younique launches in Mexico October 1, 2015.Younique launches in Mexico October, 1 2015 From that webinar, it sounds like a very exciting country to expand to – given their mobile proliferation and love of makeup there! Would love some lovely Mexicans to #jointheAteam! Maybe I should use this launch an excuse to head south of the border next time I am in California? A little sunbathing, recruiting excursion?

While we’re we are on the subject of Younique expansion into other markets, just a wee reminder, we are no longer launching in Germany in July – but rather August 1. I can’t wait as I have had interest from Germany for women to join Younique but they now have to wait one more month!

Get Thea to Green

Last month I had a cracker amount of sales. Best of the year to date. This month, June, has been a bit too quiet for my liking – to be honest.

Get Thea to Green: Younique statusI did sell out of the 3D mascaras, as I say, but there were few sales placed on my Younique by Thea website. I am determined to promote higher in July. Green if possible.  So I plan to implement my Get Thea to Green campaign. It’s my birthday, you see, in July, and I’ve decided to say to family/friends “don’t buy anything for me – but shop for yourself or someone special” through my website.

This goes for anyone looking to buy 3D fiber lash mascaras, lip stains, eye shadows or other Younique products!

Buy in July! Win/win. They get wonderful naturally-based makeup and products, and I hopefully sell 10,000 USD (Over #£6,300) in order to promote. That said #theAteam needs to sell too (and qualify) in order for me to progress up to Green. Frankly it’s a lofty goal but I am going for it!

Pay for Younique with Paypal!

Shop for Younique Products, use PayPal

This morning I woke up to news that makes me so happy. As I am someone who runs their Younique business from both the US and the UK – I use different credit cards to purchase products. For some reason, I’ve had issues using my Californian card and details. I had to resort to sending a friend in Ohio money via Paypal so she could use her card. It was very frustrating, so much so, I actually complained and asked support to pass on my suggestion to the top man Derek, and allow PayPal payments (dated May 18)!

A note to Younique co-founder Derek - let us shop with paypal

Anyway, around a month later, the news arrives, that we now can! Am not saying it was due to my suggestions – but regardless, I am over the moon! I look forward to trying it later to buy some new 3D Fiber Lashes because I am sold out, again!

I’ve been building websites (some of them ecommerce) for TWENTY YEARS now, so I felt confident in my suggestion to him. I’d like to give some other pointers but that’s perhaps best saved for another day and time 😉

My Upline Says “Goodbye” to Younique

On a not too terribly surprising note, my upline has decided to leave Younique. She, like many started out full of fire, shooting for Black and then it slowly petered out. She’s got other things to focus on, a book, and some other MLM type things (I think?) but like several of my own team – she’s decided it’s not for her. This business is not for everyone. I totally get it.

We in the UK are just about eight months down the line, and I still love Younique, the products and the business, and am still 100% committed – but like everything in life, it’s all “subject to change”.

Well that’s it for another week!
