Rockin’ Linkedin At New Start Scotland

Ready to Rock Linkedin at New Start?

Linkedin at New Start

A week on Thursday is this year’s New Start Scotland Exhibition (co-located with the Scottish Business Exhibition). If you’re anywhere in Scotland, and in Business, it’s worth attending this FREE event. There is am amazing array of exhibitors, speakers and of course workshops.

Check out the New Start Scotland showguide for more information on who is there. And the list of workshops can be found here. Last year I gave my first New Start talk about Google+ (arguably my fave place to hang “socially” on the web) so this year I’m doing my other fave place – Linkedin.

The talk will aim to offer something for anyone who is on there from newbie to more experienced dabblers. I might even have something the odd pro might not know – we’ll see. Guess I’d better get started on my forty-five minute talk.

If you are coming along, get the tickets to your workshops as soon as you can in the morning as, if last year’s talks are anything to go by, they will sell out (well they’re free but you know what I mean).

Last Wednesday night we filled the Networking bar in 29 Private Members Club in Glasgow. Over a hundred people RSVPd to the event with more than half of them showing up to hear talks about Google+, Google Analytics and Youtube. All speakers were very knowledgeable and each of them received compliments to me from attendees.

Though the feedback was amazing, with many asking to know when the next event was taking place, as November is a very busy month, I was unable to commit to a third event.

Perhaps in the New Year? Watch this space.
