Allergic Reaction to 3D Fiber Lashes

Have you had an allergic reaction to Younique’s 3D Fiber Lashes mascara?

So last night, my latest recruit, Sammie, brought to my attention, a post that is doing the rounds on Facebook. You may have seen it yourself. Apparently, this post was shared in a group that she’s in, (and I see it has been shared far too many times). But I guess that’s the nature of the beast that is Social Media, and particularly Facebook…

While it can be easy to get swept up in the negativity and scare-mongering, I personally tend to subscribe to things being best to see for myself. I take things on board, but think for myself.

All of those people that shared the story, don’t really know the FULL story.

As they say, “there are two sides to every story, and the truth lies somewhere in between”. I don’t even know the full story, so I can’t comment too much further. But what I will share with you, are a few points of reassurance – if you’re worried about the safety of Younique’s 3D lashes…

1) The real fiber lashes Younique sells are “100% Natural Fibers taken from Green Tea”. If they fall into your eyes it may irritate them, at best, not cause the damage she is proposing. (FYI: I have actually heard that the person in question admitted to Younique support that she actually poked her eye with the wand! If that’s the case then that would have the same effect with whatever mascara she was using! But again I don’t know the full story and neither do you…)

UPDATE 2016: The new formula of 3D Fiber Lashes+ has rayon fibers.

2) Just FYI Younique Support responds to all customer tickets, complaints, etc. Any time I’ve contacted support, they’ve almost always gotten immediately back to me (and my team mates and customers have said the same too), and resolved it in a satisfactorily fashion.

Admittedly sometimes it’s taken a few emails to resolve, but it’s always gotten resolved! In fact, they do tend to go above and beyond with their support, so rest assured, if you have a legit issue or problem, it will be sorted. It will not be ignored!

You may want to speak to the presenter you purchased from first before support but that’s your call.

Allergic Reactions to 3D Lashes

Real 3D Fiber Lash Mascara - Younique by Thea
Original 3D Fiber Lashes

Some people do have very sensitive eyes, of course. So far though, only one person in all the dozens of 3D mascara sets that I’ve sold has said they caused her eyes to be “red and puffy”. She herself had admitted she has “very sensitive eyes”. It’s unfortunate, but allergic reactions can happen. I dealt with it for her, myself. She realised after a few tries that they simply weren’t for her. Not every product, makeup or otherwise, is suited to every person.

In fact, there is not one product in the world that’s without its nae-sayers, critics or people who’ve had bad experience. Not one brand either. That goes for MAC, Benefit, Channel, Clinique or Revlon or whoever…

And you know what? People tend to be much more vocal about their negative opinions, and bad experiences, than they do about their positive ones.

We sell 15-20,000 of these lashes a day. If one does have an allergic reaction to the REAL 3D Fiber Lashes it tends to be the exception to the norm.

I also suspect that some people with issues would be ones using dodgy counterfeit 3D lashes from Amazon or eBay and the like.

Or as I mentioned they POKE their eye with the Younique wand (haven’t we all done that before?)Younique's Love our 3D Fiber Lashes - and all our products - or your money back

So please don’t let the critics (or even trolls) dissuade you from trying Younique’s 3D Lashes. Try them and if you don’t love them you’ll get your money back in the Love it Guarantee. OK?

FYI: Younique’s original formula 3D Fiber Lash Mascara is hypoallergenic, paraben free, gluten free, and vegan. Find the full list of 3D mascara’s ingredients from the Younique site below:

Transplanting Gel Ingredients: Water, Beeswax (Natural Propolis), Carnauba (Brazilian palm glue), Iron Oxide Cl 77499 (Black), Collagen, Acrylates Copolymer, Nylon, Stearic Acid, Propylene Glycol. .23 FL OZ / 7 ml

Natural Fibers Ingredients: 100% Natural Fibers taken from Green Tea. Net WT .02 OZ/ .5g.

Collagen is a type of protein that works with elastin to give skin its texture, structure, and appearance. It contains antioxidants, and may help add volume and shine to the appearance of eyelashes.

Water (Aqua) is the liquid of life! Hydrates and cleanses the skin, and works as a natural spreading component, helping to distribute other ingredients evenly over the skin.

Beeswax (Natural Propolis) is a brownish, resinous material collected by bees and believed to have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Carnauba (Brazilian Palm Glue) is extracted and refined through a pressing and crushing process that turns the palm glue into an oil, creating the sticky nature of the transplanting gel. It is also believed to act as a natural preservative.

Iron Oxide Cl 77499 (Black) is a technical name for Black Iron Oxide. This naturally-occurring mineral acts a colorant, giving the gel its striking black color.

Acrylates Copolymer is an adhesive and binder, as well as a suspending agent.

Nylon is a powder substance that is used as an absorbent and thickening agent.

Stearic Acid (also known as Palmitic Acid) is an organic nutrient derived from palm trees that is often used to soothe and soften the skin.

Propylene Glycol is a humidifying and delivery ingredient.

My Week in Younique – Times Two (…again)

Due to a busy few weeks, I’m a week behind in my updates for My Week in Younique! So now I’ve got to remember all the fabulous and exciting things that have been happening. It’s been quite a time!

New Youique Products & Bundles

BUNDLE: Kid in a Candy Store - Younique by TheaI am soooo excited to see the new Younique products that are coming out in just over a week’s time!

I’ve seen the pictures (screenshots from a top presenter) but can’t wait to order them myself so I can see them up close!

Plus there are a bunch of new bundles that look utterly awesome! Check out the new names: Kid in a Candy Store, Pucker Up, About Face, Show Stopper, All Eyes on You and Radiant Beauty! They all look great, but I’m probably going to grab the Kid in a Candy Store for the new products, and because I lost my gorgeous lip stain (it may have been left in California last month, oops). Still doesn’t it look great! The new bags look darling!

New Pigments Price

Shop for Moodstruck Mineral Pigment Eye ShadowsThe other day the new weekly email arrived with news of the Moodstruck Mineral Powders Set price change:

Last October we printed an incorrect price in the catalog for the Moodstruck Minerals Pigment Powders Set of 4. Since it was our mistake, we chose to honor that lower price until the March catalog was printed with the corrected price ($45 USD, $54 CAD, $58 AUD, £35 GBP, $62 NZD). We want to remind you that there is about one week remaining for this lower price, as the correct price will go into effect March 1, 2015.

Definitely picking up a set of these this week before the price goes up! I am having trouble deciding though as per my post on Google+. There are 32 eye shadows and I only have five so I really need to work out what I should get next. Open to suggestions if you have any! Post there or here in the comments!

New Enquiries Via My Site

Help Wanted: Makeup lovers to join #theAteamI’ve had some enquiries through the blog to join #theateam – which makes me beyond-pleased! Good to know someone is reading these words and has reached out as a result!

One however reached out, stated she was signing up with someone else and asked loads of questions to me (which I answered). So basically I did all the recruitment for someone else’s benefit! Oh well…I’ve written a blog to answer some 5 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS of Younique) Part one – as a response to that. More FAQs will follow.

So what am I looking for? Well it’s my intention to find some fabulous, makeup-loving, ambitious sellers who want to run their own business, play with makeup, and have a second pay check each month. Heck, better still if they want to make a career out of it (like me)! 🙂

Looking for people in North America, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. So please pass it on!

Another enquiry last week came from someone already selling the Fake 3D Fiber Lashes though. I cringed as so many un-suspecting women were registering their interest to snap them up – knowing full well they’re likely to be dodgy.

Really this just break my heart – people flogging counterfeit products, especially when those of us are trying to make a living out of selling the real deal.

Ladies, it may look the same, come in the same style case, even contain the same branding and bar code, but it’s not Real 3D Fiber Lash mascara unless you get it directly from Younique, OK? (Here’s a recent post about smelly transplanting gel – PS: if yours smells, it’s fake!)

If you’re after some cheap 3D lashes, please just beware of who you buy from, you don’t know what you’re putting on/near your eyes, OK? I tend to have some on hand and can send in the UK for reduced shipping. I’d rather you bought the real thing from me (or anyone at Younique) than be duped by a low cost knock off!

So please reach out. Plus, not only that, you’ll only be entitled to a money-back guarantee if you buy from source!

Team Update

My newest recruit Sammie, based in Lanarkshire in Scotland, has already qualified as White and is earning the most on my team this month, second only to me! She’s fired up and running a few businesses simultaneously. This girl’s going places! She’s a rock star. I am delighted to have her aboard! The next teamie – also in Lanarkshire to be rocking it is Karen. Karen’s like my very own 3D Whisperer! She’s so good she doesn’t even know it! That’s how we often are I guess…never knowing our true worth. I will just have to keep reminding her.

Time to Shop Younique!

As for me, I need to go and do some shopping for myself! That’s in a way the downside of running your own Younique business, you end up being your best customer if you’re not careful. I genuinely want all the products but for now I’ll start with the above mentioned Moodstruck Pigments set and also I’m gonna have to break down and buy the Love it Bundle all for that cute Pink Glam Bag!

I Met My Younique Sponsor Today

I Met My Younique Sponsor Today

I Met My Younique Sponsor Today

So just a quick post to say that I met my Younique sponsor for the first time today. We have never met.

In Y

ounique you do not have to be near your sponsor. In fact I have had Younique recruits in the US, UK, Canada and even Australia. I happily take them from anywhere – feel free to join my team…anytime. You don’t even have to message me! Just can just do it. Or you can reach out for a no obligation chat. Either way is fine.

My Highland Sponsor

Wee iPhone selfie of Thea Newcomb & Younique sponsor Joanna Hunter

Joanna is based in the Highlands of Scotland. I, on the other hand, am either in Northern California or Glasgow Scotland – depending on the time of year.

With Younique you can sign up under anyone anywhere…Well in the markets we’re currently in – North America, UK and Australia/New Zealand…so in theory your sponsor and upline maybe be anywhere. It just so happened mine is up in the Highlands which is driving distance away.

So we met and discussed our journey with our teams. She has double the amount on her team as I do on mine. There are 12 in my company and hers is 23 or 24 I think (direct recruits (more when you include my team).  In any event, here is me and my Younique sponsor.

That is all…

Do You Need a Younique Sponsor?

I have already blogged about sponsoring with Younique, so if you’re in the market for one, have a peruse about this post How to Find a Younique Sponsor. It may be helpful to read before you sign up with one…I’ve had a number of people asking if they could change their Younique sponsor or saying they wished they’d joined my team instead of someone else’s….

I wrote a more extensive post about some FAQs of Joining Younique – which you may also find helpful.

Any questions feel free to call or message me, or leave a comment on any post!

If you fancy a wee shop for some Younique makeup or skincare products then feel free to pop by my Younique by Thea shop here.

5 FAQs of Joining Younique – Part 1

5 FAQs of Joining Younique - Part 1

5 FAQs of Joining Younique – Part 1

Here are 5 FAQs about Joining Younique that might help you determine wether it’s right for you.

Hey I’m Thea a Blue Exemplary Younique Presenter here to help if you are here because you’re considering joining Younique and need a sponsor. Decided it would be good to go over some questions you may have in a series of FAQs. There are a few more relevant links at the bottom now too!

Let’s see, for starters, I’ve been a Younique presenter since the UK launch Nov 1, 2014.  Here are a few questions I had, or heard, since joining Younique.

When I first learned about the “Younique opportunity”, frankly it all sounded “too good to be true”. The flexible hours. Work from home (or wherever you want). Products that sell themselves (15,000+ lashes sell every day?) Cheap entry costs for a well-stocked presenter’s kit. Let’s not forget the whole Instant Royalties…aka “Get paid daily” thing (which seems a wee bit misleading to me, so I prefer “Get paid just hours after every sale”,  3 hours after, but hey that’s just me).

As I say, it all just sounded soooo great, but a little too easy. I was skeptical about joining Younique so like any prospective recruit I researched – a lot! If you’re reading this, you’re doing your due diligence too. Good for you!

1) “How much does it cost to become a presenter?”

First of all I will tell you where we are. We are currently in the following countries – North America, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico Germany, France and Spain (Mar 1).

Join Younique - New Presenter kit 2017

Fees to join Younique are the following:

UK £69 | US $99 | Canada $119 | Australia $129 | New Zealand $139 Germany/France/Spain/Ireland/Italy €107 | MXN $172 | Hong Kong $775
+ shipping.

That is all you pay to get your presenter kit and FREE website where you can begin selling within minutes of joining!

  • No, there are no recurring fees – monthly or annually
  • Free Website included with no annual website fees
  • No other items that you have to buy
  • That startup fee gets you a “Presenters Kit” – which changes every quarter or so – and you receive around double that amount in products!
  • There are no other “hidden charges” to speak of. You can buy products to have on hand, such as the lashes, or you don’t have to. That’s all you have to pay to become a Younique presenter.

2) “What support does Younique give?”

A recent email through my blog here asked: “Does Younique provide you with a lot of the marketing articles, stories, before and after shots or is this down to each presenter?”

Well, a bit of both really.

There are copious amounts of photos on the website, and also being shared on the Younique Facebook pages and groups.

As soon as you join, you automatically get added to a private group for Younique Presenters only. Much info, advice, photos and videos are shared there – seemingly hourly!

Frankly, I noticed really early on that there are images all over the Internet for Younique! Some of them are great, and some of them really, well, aren’t. (Tacky comes to mind for some. So if you join, please choose your images wisely.)

Personally I tend to try to make up my own images to share to avoid any copyright infringement, and to build my Younique By Thea brand awareness.

I am not saying my images are “the best”, by any means, but by photographing my own products they’re at least unique to me!

I also try to add my URL to each photo I share.

As soon as you can, I’d recommend that you can also get shots off your happy customers – when you are lucky enough to get those!

3) “Do I need a local Younique sponsor?”

Wee iPhone selfie of Thea Newcomb & Younique sponsor Joanna HunterIt is entirely up to you, but in this day and age, it doesn’t matter where your sponsor is.

I signed up with a woman Joanna who lives in the Scottish Highlands. We’d never met, but we spoke over the phone, through Facebook chat and video Skype. (UPDATE: Met her several months later when she was down in Glasgow)

Now around 1/3 of my team is in America. They could just as easily be in Canada, Australia or New Zealand. I hope to have women in all those countries joining me soon as well as the ones in Germany, MexicoFrance – and now Spain is next!

I’ve written a post called How to Find a Sponsor which may be of use to you. Basically though, if you can, do find someone who resonates with you, has achieved at least a wee bit of Younique “status”, has the start of a team already in place, who’s positive, and really looking to build a serious business for themselves….Go for it!

What is the person doing online? Can you see their activity? This business is primarily conducted online (though some people use catalogs, events and do in-home parties etc) – so how are they doing with their efforts? How many followers do they have? What sort of posts are they making on social media? Is it unique? Or is it just a bunch of spammy sales links? Do they do videos? How do you feel about them?

4) “Is training provided?”

Younique Training Course - in the back office.

For some of us, direct sales is new thing, and is so selling makeup. There is a ridiculous amount of training information out there. Some are better than others in my opinion. Some of the top level presenters are utterly fantastic in their efforts to train via tutorial videos, webinars, slide shows, and presentations. Others, not so much.

There is also a training area in the “back office” which you have access to the moment you sign up.

They’re billed as “weekly courses” but really can be done all at once, or simply whenever you find the time to read through them.

If the person offers bespoke training – so much the better

PS: I offer FREE Social Media coaching to my team if needed and host weekly hangouts on Google (video chats with my team).

5) “How do I get paid by Younique?”

You may have heard that Younique has “Instant Royalties”. As I mentioned, that means that we get paid three hours after every sale! I just got paid shortly ago – from another 3D Fiber Lash order earlier this evening. Yippee! Sure it’s great getting the Younique emails to say another order has just came in, but I’ll be honest with you, I love the one saying that I’ve been paid even better!

Instant Royalties from Younique - PayQucicker Card | youniquebytheaWe get paid into a PayQuicker account. (It’s a little similar to Paypal). Once you reach the $50 threshold, your card is automatically issued to you. You’ll get it within a week or two. Mine was a little bit of a pain to set up. As an American in the UK, I didn’t have a lot of UK “Government issued” forms of ID.

[NOTE: Got there in the end by supplying my UK driver’s license (picture ID) and my national insurance card.]

When you receive your card, you can use it like you would any MasterCard. For us in the UK it’s what I would call a “swipey” card – not a Chip & Pin. So I use it to get petrol (gas), groceries, meals out etc. I sometimes drop it in the bank and use it to pay toward my mortgage…To do that, I download the funds straight into my (“Current”) bank account. There are fees for some card uses, including drawing down to your bank. So do keep an eye on which is most cost effective and do that.

I have found spending online is fabulous. It’s now my “go to” card on Amazon!

Do you have a question about joining Younique?

If you are considering joining my team but have any specific questions, then please ask it in the comments below. If I don’t know the answer my uplines will certainly be able to help! They’re very good that way!

Ready to become a Younique Presenter - #jointheAteamIf all I’ve said here has convinced you, and you’re ready to join Younique now, but you need a sponsor, then please visit my Youique by Thea join page to get started! No need to message me first.

It’s changed a bit since I signed up. If you need a postcode to find me, it’s G11 5HW.

If you have any problems please comment below or email me. I do check my blog daily!

Keep an eye out for my week in younique blog posts because I’ve been documenting my journey on a weekly basis. The highs and lows as transparent as possible!

More Relevant Younique Info about Joining Younique:

That was just a few of the questions I had – or heard!  As I’ve been a presenter for longer, I’ve continually been adding to the FAQ posts to help people that are researching Younique to find out what it’s really like.

This is not an easy business. For everyone one person who’s making a fortune with it, there are seemingly thousands making nothing. So don’t just join it for the money! Here are some other posts which will hopefully be of use to you.

Finally if you have questions and need a sponsor, then please by all means reach out and I will help you.

If you have questions but already have someone you’re joining with – then please ask them.

That’s what sponsors are there for to offer that guidance and support. Thanks so much!

My Week in Younique – New Teamies, Parties and More!

My Week in Younique new teamies, parties, and more

My Week in Younique – New Teamies, Parties and More!

Well another week in Younique has passed – selling more products, hosting more Younique parties and welcoming a few new new teamies, too…

January was pretty dire, I have to be honest with you, not just for me, but for my entire company too. The best sales came from one team member buying mostly for herself. As I’d spent so much in November and December, I was on a self-imposed buying ban!

Everyone is a potential customer…

Check out Molly's 3D FIber Lash Mascara eyes! This week has proven that sales can come from a variety of sources. One mascara, that sold at the start of the week, was through a private message from a Facebook friend/ former So You’ve Been Dumped site member (FYI she’s happily married now with a few kids, don’t worry! Ha!)

She paid me by BACS Monday, and had her lashes Tuesday – much to her amazement. I now await her “Selfie” (…like this one here).

Another came through my Younique site a day later. A stranger. Love those sales, in many ways, the most. In fact, I’d be quite happy if all sales were from strangers, because then I would not need to be nudging family and friends, as I occasionally do. (I have dialled it back a bit, and changed my tactic to be fair…)

At a Glasgow networking event on Friday, I sold a set of lashes to a 21-year old, Lithuanian fella for his sweetheart. It was for her Valentine’s Day – but as Friday was her birthday, he caved and gave it to her sooner! Who can blame him?

In any event. that sale just proves that sales really can come from anywhere…so I carry sets of 3D lashes with me wherever I go now!

I worked hard this week…set myself some goals, created some images, and thought about where I’d like to go with this Younique Opportunity. I’m definitely aiming for the top, and am 100% committed (Well, most days!).

Do I have days of doubt? For sure. Did lack of January sales and almost-no team enthusiasm bum me out? For sure. But it’s funny, when I really start to feel the doubt, something happens to remind me I am on the right path…so I persevere! Last night was a great example of that…

Younique parties – ways to hostess…

People really do have a tough time really grasping what Younique’s online parties are, so I am going to give some thoughts on the matter. It’s perhaps confusing because it really can be anything you want it to me…

A Younique presenter can book a party with anyone she is friends with on Facebook (or host the party herself). Personally, I always have a 10-day party, or two, running for myself!

Once the link is created it’s time to use it…either personally, or by sharing it with others! Here are a few ways that might be done…

1) Facebook: A most popular-way is to head over to FB to create an event.  Once created, it’s time to share — images, stories, tutorials, links etc. Frankly, I don’t think the parties are the best option, but I know other Youniques have done them where they’ve been hugely successful. To me, they’re too much work, and hostesses don’t tend to be that fussed about putting in the work to make it successful (From what I’ve seen). Again they can work…That’s just not the route I take.

2) Facebook Group: You can create a group and share stuff to that in the same way as above. Again I don’t think this is the way forward as most people will not post the recommended five (or whatever) times a day. Some Youniques totally nail this, and have content all ready to go etc…and I am sure it works for them. But again not me. (I have a mental block I think).

3) Facebook List: What I do think can work is to create a FB list of people you think would be interested in the Makeup posts…or at least not put off by them. Share your link, pictures, tutorials, etc to that list. Consider tagging friends if you want (am not a fan of tagging or being tagged so I do it very rarely). I do share to my Younique list regularly.

4) Other Social Media: You can also share the link on any of your social media channels. If you use Twitter, share the party link there, if you’re more of an instagram person, use it. Vlogger – create videos and share them on Vimeo or Youtube (Vine or Instagrame or even FB again).

5) Google+: I think G+ deserves a special mention here. I’ve seen a quite a few Youniques trying to create parties on Google Plus in a Facebook sort of way, and I can tell you now, it’s ill-advised. They are very different places. I’ve been a HUGE fan and trainer of Google+ and trying to use it like FB is not likely to get you any credibility or sales. So please stop inviting me to your Younique party there – especially if we’ve never spoken or engaged at all on G+!! Instead simply share your images and stories. Engage with other people there.

While I do have a Glatitude Google+ Page which I barely use, I actually spend almost all my time using my personal profile. On my profile I mix everything that I love – photography, Younique, music, social media…it’s not a place I simply broadcast my 3D fiber lashes links and pics. It’s very much created to build my overall, personal brand.Love it Bundle - Double Party Points - Click to visit and find out more!

6) Simply Try a Private party…

So an old friend from High School messaged me on Friday night saying “I need to order three more of the mascaras” because she loved them – as did her cousin! So I excitedly suggested a party link.

Then, in my zeal, I overwhelmed her too much information, and she just replied back with “can I just buy the mascara without the party?”.  Oops!

Right now people are getting double party points so it makes sense to, even if you don’t want to share the link anywhere, buy through your own party link. In the end, she did that last night and earned herself some half priced items and Y-cash which she can spend over the next year!

There are many more ways than what is listed above to do the “party” thing. You can share the party link with your work colleagues, friends, family via email. I created a PDF last night for our February Love It Bundle and emailed it to a few friends who are willing to pass it on to their makeup-loving friends.

The world is your oyster with how you promote your own Younique party link. Heck you can even do what my high school friend did and just buy stuff for yourself, using it and grab yourself some perks for next time you want some free or cheap make up. Win/win!

#theAteam expands

Another Cali gal makes 3 for #theAteam!I mentioned some Younique new teamies….here we go.

While I was still on the “high” of a nice-sized order last night, another email came in saying a new team member had joined my team. This being Teri, a friend for nearly thirty years, who joins me and the other Californian Tina (known for more than 30 years). So it’s like the Trifecta with the three Ts!

Twenty minutes later another recruit joined – Sammie in Scotland. Sammie currently now juggles three businesses that will compliment each other. So delighted to have her too.

So it was quite night last night, I have to say. Welcome a fe more like that too!

I said #theAteam’s expanding, but as some new ones are joining, others are simply doing nothing with their Younique business. That to me is one of the hardest parts to deal with as a leader. People being too busy, apathetic, or disenfranchised or whatever – so they are doing nothing with this opportunity. They’ll soon be falling by the wayside I fear…

I suppose it’s the nature of the beast, and it happens in every Direct Sales business around the world, I am sure. I did hear that 20% of your team will make 80% of the money. This appears to be the case for my team.

Realistically, I just need to find a few more like me! Committed, hard working, enthusiastic and pretty good with the whole ‘online thing’…

Better get back to writing my team training document…Until next week….

Best Recruitment Video Ever

Before I go I will leave you with what is arguably the best Younique Recruitment video ever…

If you love the sound of that, then why not join #theAtea now – I’d always welcome new teamies! Be pleased to have you!

Does Your 3D Fiber Lashes’ Gel Smell?

Does Your 3D Fiber Lashes’ Gel Smell?

Does your 3D Fiber Lashes’ Gel Smell?

A few people have contacted me on the blog, in the last week or so, to report that their fiber lash mascara’s gel has a terrible stench to it!

To my knowledge, these people have not bought direct from official Younique presenters but rather someone advertising cheap 3D lashes on Facebook, Amazon. Ebay etc..

The real trouble with these fiber lash mascaras is that they look like real 3D fiber lashes, are even said to have the bar code on the back, and yet they stink??

Let me just reiterate Younique’s 3D fiber lash mascara gel has no smell whatsoever!! If yours stinks, then I suspect you have bought one from a counterfeit batch and not from an authorised presenter.

I am currently trying to ascertain where exactly these women have bought their lashes from (probably Ebay or Amazon!!) and particularly if it’s the same seller.

Once I do find out, I’ll make sure I report them to Younique, officially so that the compliance team can take action.

Regardless, they will not be sanctioned mascara on sites like Amazon or Ebay. We are not allowed to sell them there or other sites like that (Craigslist, Gumtree etc)!

Be Safe with Your Eyes

Younique's Love our 3D Fiber Lashes - and all our products - or your money backSure you may save yourself a bit of money picking up a cheap set of lashes to try them out, but at what cost in the long run?

You don’t have the same guarantee that 1) they are legit (e.g. naturally-based), and also 2) you don’t have the 100% certainty of your money back in our “love it guarantee” if you’re not 100% happy with the product. So why risk it?

Please buy your 3D Fiber Lashes direct from Younique itself (if not me on my site, then another authorised presenter local to you!) NOTE: As long as you are in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada you can buy from me. If there is any trouble I will guide you, and ensure you’re satisfied with the products!

Fake 3D Fiber Lash Buyers!

Beware of Fake Younique Mascara - this is what the real 3D Fiber Lashes look like!

Buyers beware! If you have bought some “smelly”, or False 3D Fiber Lashes, could you be so kind to share the link to who you bought from below? Or even take a picture or the packaging (if you have it still!) That would be so helpful so that people don’t make the same mistake…

Share this blog with anyone who’s been looking for some cheap 3D lashes online! Make sure they buy the real deal from Younique Products! OK?

My Week in Younique – Hello February

Another week has come and gone – and here we are, in February, now. That means I’ve done three, full months as an Independent Younique Presenter & Sponsor – here in Scotland. Of course a third of that time was in California too.

It’s been an amazing journey so far. Definitely highs and lows – just like life as a whole.

Younique’s Big Reveal

6 new Younique Products - Younique By Thea
Shop Younique By Thea

The other day we had our big reveal of — six new products and two new territories.

I blogged about the reveal within an hour or so of it taking place – so you can read the full blog here if you’d like, but essentially the new products are:

Incidentally, I’d never even used a Lip Stain before November, but now I have, and I certainly was a convert.

Not only that, but I was expecting one colour, but it turns out we’re having seven new colours. Incredible. I want them all!

 What I Love About Younique

I didn’t know what to expect when I joined Younique. I had not even tried the products yet, I’d only watched some videos and read some articles and reviews. I am completely new to this whole Direct Sales thing, and never saw myself as much of a “sales person” but, I think what I love is that it’s fun, the products tend to sell themselves, and I can make money while I sleep.

I seriously dig that!

Also the flexibility with Younique is incredible! You can work as little or as much as you want. It’s up to you. You can focus your efforts on Blogging (like me), Facebook, Instagram,  Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, or Google+. – or take it offline and promote Younique products through your book club, office, church or on the school run!

Do whatever works for you!

One of my team mates up north is doing it “old school” via catalogs. That works too. What other business has this much flexibility?

Plus I love getting these emails – morning noon or night!

Order 3D mascaras through Younique By Thea

and even more so the ones that come three hours after this one…
Get paid 3 hours after every sale! Younique by Thea

to say I’ve been paid! How cool is that – no waiting to get your money!! I’m looking forward to filling up my gas tank tomorrow using my commissions from Younique!

In Other News This Week…

Have sold a few more 3D Fiber Lash Mascaras (both in person and through my website). Two have been reserved and that means I have just a handful left. It will soon be time to put through another bulk order as I do sell to people here in the UK for £23 direct off of me and if they’re elsewhere in the UK I’ll send them for £25 (which usually arrives the next day). I won’t always be able to do that but I’ll do it for the next month or so if you need some 3D lashes fast – get in touch soon!

Speaking of them…I have also had more comments on my biggest blog here to date – which talks about Real Fiber Lashes vs the Fake 3D Mascaras. My advice is buy through a Younique presenter to know you’re getting the real deal.
